Sculpture on the Shore 3-Day Workshop

Join us for a 3-day artist-led adventure at Wardie Bay Beach. During workshop we will explore a variety of art skills, including sculpture, and invite children to create, inspired by nature and our coastal setting. Limited places available.
Bingham-Niddrie Tunnel Mural Project
Community, Art, Environment and Youth Empowerment
We are delighted to be working Sustrans, Transport Scotland and the residents of Bingham and Niddrie, to transform the tunnel that connects these two vibrant communities in Edinburgh. We can't wait to engage with local people and create an artwork that impacts positively on the community and the environment. If you live in the area, look out for our upcoming free workshops, where you'll get to meet our lead artists and the Art Buds team, as well as and our brilliant young interns. Three young people from the area, aged 16-25, will join this project as part of a paid internship programme, and help bring the community's vision to life alongside our experienced mural artists.

Join us for an artist-led workshop in the beautiful setting of Easter Craiglockhart Nature Reserve. During these fun and friendly outdoor session, we invite children to learn new art skills and explore together, before gathering around the fire to share our creations. This beautiful woodland venue is hidden behind Lockharton Crescent and easily accesible by public transport. Free on-street parking available. Cost: £12/£18/£23 per class. Our older class at Holyrood Park gives young people aged 7-12 the chance to extend and develop their sustainable art making, with lots of opportunity for outdoor adventure and discovery. Children work in small age appropriate groups with experienced artist educators. These popular sessions spark curiosity in the natural world and joy in artistic process. Sciennes After School Art Buds
Primary 1-4
Sciennes Primary School
Tuesdays, 3.30-5pm
Open to children in P1-P4 attending Sciennes Primary School, Edinburgh. Art Buds After School Club takes place in the school's nature strip. Join us for outdoor creating, building, painting and sculpting every Tuesday! To set up something similar at your school or nursery, or to find our more about our bespoke 'Schools Workshops', get in touch. Cost: £9.50 per class (Please contact the school directly. Our art workshops for adult groups and organisations in Scotland will leave you feeling creative, uplifted and inspired! Join our experienced Artist Educators for a grown up adventure that develops sustainable art skills and encourages greater connection with the nature world.
Our adult workshops can be delivered outdoors or indoors. Contact us for more information or to arrange a unique creative experience for your group. Corporate and private enquires welcome. Creative Communities - Improving Lives through Art
Art Buds is proud to offer free outdoor art classes and summer camps for children aged 3-11 in the Muirhouse and Bingham areas of Edinburgh.
The Creative Communities project provides free outdoor clothing and healthy food for every participating child, thanks to our partners and funders, North Edinburgh Arts, Community Renewal: Lifting Neighbourhoods Together, Frugi, Muddy Puddles and Creative Scotland. The project won the Creative Edinburgh Community Award in 2022 for its positive impact on the community.
