Hi, we’re Art Buds!
We are passionate about creativity, process art and protecting our planet. We offer fun artistic education for children, young people and adults that centres around sustainability and celebrates the creative journey.
Our team of experienced artist educators are facilitating classes in three beautiful natural outdoor spaces across Edinburgh. Whether you are drawn to explore art on the beach, in the forest or atop an ancient volcano, our mission is to inspire you to create and enhance your understanding of the natural world and what we can all do to protect it.

What do we mean by Sustainability?
Sustainability is a complex idea. The UN World Commission on Environment and Development defines it like this: “sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
Art Buds Collective takes a holistic approach to the complex and interconnected issues surrounding sustainability. Our efforts to build a greener, fairer future must support environmental, social and economic health. We understand that resources are finite, and we must conserve their use, but we must also share access to experiences and learning - sustainable practices should support human as well as ecological needs. Our creativity in the present must stay true to the world we want future generations to inherit.
